Am I Broken: Has Growing Up As A Christian Destroyed You?

04/24/2025

We all are most definitely broken, born broken (so much so that it's fashionable today to want to know what the baby may be born with, so we can decide whether to abort or not). We live in broken societies (There are more places of incarceration than education in America) and many of us die broke and or broken. The thing is we were supposed to realize that we were broken, accept who we were and seek after healing. We were sold a bill of "self-love" goods. That is a lie. We are #not broken irreparably, but we are broken. That's the result of the sin problem.

Those who do #not accept the existence of Yahweh (God), claim that we are in an evolutionary process millions of years old. Honest question: Shouldn't we have so developed so much now that we could abolish prisons and mental institutions?

The fact is, and it is a fact, I don't tell people they are broken because it's easier to convert a person from a position of weakness, but because if they were to appreciate the sin solution (Jesus), they must understand the sin problem, and the sin problem goes deep. We are flawed people with a built-in self-destruct button. We feel that we can so sufficiently run our own lives. Yeah? Don't die….wait…wait…better yet….wake yourself up in the morning.

The problem is not Christ or the Christian religion….it's how it's practiced…it's how we live Him out in our lives….The key is to live by the instruction manual: He Only Left You Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. Past generations of parents didn't have the light we do today: Isaiah 54:13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and #great shall be the #peace of #thy #children.
